Hi!

I'm Chris, a researcher and coder. I am currently a research fellow at CMAC in the University of Strathclyde. My research includes applications of AI in pharmaceutical manufacturing and development, especially with regards to particle characterisation.

Currently working on the CMAC's Crystallisation Screening DataFactory (CSDF) and CERSI projects, amogst other things. Lab automation, infrastructure and operations are what I spend the bulk of my time doing. (Mostly, I just write code.)

What's all this then?

I write posts to help cement ideas in my brain; I tend to write about stuff as I learn it. I also write about stuff I've built to showcase it - highlighting issues and how they were surmounted. These "portfolio pieces" are gathered in the project page.
